2016-2017 Proposed Budget
Attached is a copy of the budget proposal for the upcoming academic year. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to Jenny Musyj, Director of Finance (finance@allardlss.com) prior to the Budget Meeting on Friday, September 23rd. Please carefully read over the reasons in the proposed budget before contacting Jenny with questions.
All members of the student body are encouraged to attend the Budget Meeting to ensure that quorum is met and to hear some important announcements. After a few opening remarks from Jenny, the floor will open for discussion, and ALSS members will be given the opportunity to voice their opinions about the proposed budget (though this will be strictly moderated to allow for as many people as possible to have their voices heard). Immediately following the Budget Meeting, all ALSS members will have the opportunity to cast a ballot to approve/defeat the proposed budget. Voting will take place in room 104. It is strongly suggested that you attend to budget vote if you are able to (regardless if you are a member of a club or not), as there will be a Finance Blackout period immediately following the vote. This means that if the quorum is not met, there will be a delay in distributing funds to clubs/teams for at least 10 days.
